Residential Inspections:

Utilizing computer generated software allows us to efficiently cover well over 200 items or concerns a home may have.  The software also allows for on the spot adjustment for any unusual or abnormal conditions that may be found and this does happen!  The typical home inspection will last 3 to 4 hours, some homes possibly less and some possibly longer.  A client is welcome to be present at anytime during the inspection.  Due to the potential length of the inspection we encourage clients to arrive towards the end.  At the compeletion of the inspection a walk through will be done with the client and inspector, review of the summary of the report, and any questions or concerns the client may have.  This allows the inspector to focus fully on the home during the inspection and devote our full attention to the client during the walk through and review.  Before leaving the inspected home the client will receive a binder containing: contract, summary, full report, WI HI standards, "How to Operate Your Home" booklet, Cost Guide, and possibly other specific documents/information pertaining to the home.  All inspection reports are fully electronic (emailable), this makes getting copies out extremely easy and quick.  Building types also do not matter; mobile home, manufactured home, log home, condo's, duplexes,  and or stick built.  Below is a partial list of some of the items that will be covered during an inspection.

Commerical Inspections:

Using computerized software for the inspection allows us to customize on the spot for any building.   We have inspected: gas stations, hotels, retail stores, multi-unit business complexes,  and multi-unit apartment buildings.  We have no limitations to the number of units for an apartment building, hotel, or retail store with apartments.  The guide lines of a standard home inspection are applied to the commerical inspections, in addition to that we have expertise in working with higher amperage commerical buildings, and large capacity hvac systems.  

Investigating / Troubleshooting:

Have a problem and can't figure it out?  Call us and we can assist.  Bicknell Inspection Plus, LLC does not make repairs but can get you headed in the right direction.  We also have the tools to assist in pinpointing or finding the source of a problem.  Once a source has been identified typically photos are taken and a letter is drafted.  If we can not pinpoint the source we do not charge.   Being a lifelong local of the Baraboo area has given us a lot  of contacts to help you find the right person for the job.
